Monday Musings

Hiya happy Monday! I had a very nice weekend, but it went too fast! I'm happy this week is a short one even though I have lots to do to prepare for my biggest event of the year, which is less than two weeks away. AHH!!

My weekend wasn't perfect health wise but was one of the best in quite a while. I actually put some thought into what I was eating and tried to make *better* decisions, even though they weren't always the best. Baby steps. Some of my eat since Friday...





There was also a couple of un-photographed pizza and drinks in there too.

Yesterday I went for a run outside. It was cold and windy at first but got better as time went on. I did a similar run to Thursday:
5 minute warm-up walk
5 minute run
2.5 minute walk
4 minute run
2 minute walk
3 minute run
1.5 minute walk
3 minute run
1.5 minute walk
2 minute run
1 minute walk
2 minute run
5 minute cool down walk


I missed one of my workouts this week and did 2 instead of 3. I think that's okay! I'm hoping to get to the gym tonight and tomorrow (even if I don't run both days) to make up for it. Today is going well so far. Breakfast was the normal cheerios and a banana. Lunch was a turkey sandwich, some raw veggies, a string cheese and pretzels.


I'm excited about dinner tonight! I will post it tomorrow if I actually do it :)
