50 Questions

I saw this survey on another blog and I am hella bored at work right now, so here goes! 

1. What time did you get up this morning? 6:54 AM...well before my alarm clock went off!

2. How do you like your steak? Medium, but I'm not a huge steak eater.

3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema? Divergent! I liked it, but reading the books before seeing movies definitely takes the "surprise" out of it.

4. What is your favorite TV show? This is a tough one! My favorite TV shows ever are probably Dawson's Creek, the Office, Top Chef, and Dexter. But I like a lot of shows!

5. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? Well I CAN live anywhere in the world and I live in Boston, so...

6. What did you have for dinner last night? This plate of deliciousness -- egg and turkey bacon sandwich, cucumbers, strawberries.

7. What is your favorite cuisine? Italian or "new American"

8. What foods do you dislike? I wrote a whole post about this! There aren't many foods I don't like but I'd say asparagus and grapefruit, although I've become pretty fond of white asparagus in the last few years.

9. Favorite place to eat? My favorite casual, every day place to eat is probably Lincoln in Southie because it's good and close to my apartment. But I'd eat at Menton every night for dinner if I could!

10. Favorite dressing? I've been really anti salad dressing for year's now, but I've been liking Stonewall kitchen's champagne shallot walnut dressing.

11.What kind of vehicle do you drive? I don't. Public transport all the way for this girl.

12. What are your favorite clothes? I love wearing dresses! Really comfy and girly ones.

13. Where would you visit if you had the chance? I really want to Japan and eat my way through the Michelin star restaurants in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. Anyone want to fund that vacation???

14. Cup 1/2 empty or 1/2 full? I can be a really "half full" optimist about other people's situations but sadly, am more of a pessimist when it comes to my own life.

15. Where would you want to retire? Hard to tell right now, would depend on so many things AKA will I even have enough money saved to retire??

16. Favorite time of day? Evenings. I'm definitely a night person. 

17. Where were you born? Long Island, NY.

18. What is your favorite sport to watch? Gymnastics! Could watch it all day.

19. How many siblings? Two sisters, one older and one younger.

20. Favorite pastime/hobby? Reading. 

21. Favorite food? Pickles, watermelon, clementines, french fries!

22. Bird watcher? Not like, professionally. But I enjoy watching birds when I see them? This also reminded me of this picture from my late night drunk internetting a few years back...

23. Are you a morning person or a night person? See #16. Night.

24. Do you have any pets? Not in Boston, but I still consider my little cat Gabbe in NY my pet.

25. Any new and exciting news you'd like to share? I'm going to St. Louis tomorrow!! Woo woo!!

26. What did you want to be when you were little? I distinctly remember I won a local art contest for creating a life size version of myself as a future lawyer. I also went through a crazy whale phase where I was sure I was going to work at Seaworld.

27. What is your best childhood memory? Some of my best memories are from trips to Woodloch Pines. We used to go every summer and winter with family and friends, so it was the best of both words. Since it was a resort, we got to run free starting at like 5 years old. I would LOVE to go back.

28. Are you a cat or dog person? Both. I "love" dogs but I've never had one so I might not if I had to pick up it's poop...

29. Are you married? Nope.

30. Always wear your seat belt? 100% in the front seat, 75% in the back seat :(

31. Been in a car accident? A few fender benders, nothing serious.

32. Any pet peeves? When people ruin the ends of TV shows, movies, books etc., when people are late/make you late and don't care!

33. Favorite Pizza Toppings? Extra cheese please.

34. Favorite Flower? Lilys and sunflowers

35. Favorite ice cream? Chocolate chip cookie dough.

36. Favorite fast food restaurant? Don't really eat fast food anymore. Definitely used to be Burger King/Taco Bell/Wendys. Today it'd be Boloco or Sweet Green, if those count as fast food?

37. How many times did you fail your driver's test? Passed first time, but I'd probably fail now. LOL.

38. From whom did you get your last email? DietBet, reminding me the round 5 weigh in is coming up.

39. Which store would you choose to max out your credit card? Target...I could get all the things!

40. Do anything spontaneous lately? No, I am too much of a planner. I would love to be more spontaneous! The last spontaneous thing I did was buy the ticket to the Liquid Art House preview at BCAE.

41. Like your job? Meh.

42. Broccoli? Sometimes...in stir frys or roasted.

43. What was your favorite vacation? Oh man there are too many. My trip on the garden route in South Africa might be #1 of all time. If I could remember more of my family's trip to the Olympics in 1996 I imagine that would be up there. Plus, I've been on a few amazing trips recently! 

44. Last person you went out to dinner with? I think it was with Tom to Sportello.

45. What are you listening to right now? The silent air of my workspace.

46. What is your favorite color? Blue.

47. How many tattoos do you have? Zero.

48. What's your favorite season? Summer, Spring, Winter, Fall...in that order

49. What time did you finish this quiz? it's 11:40 AM.
