Scenes from a Dartmouth Weekend

I love summer weekends in Dartmouth at my friend Cara's house. It's such a wonderful escape from the city and I'm so glad I have a friend who invites me to spend the weekend with her family! I didn't take too many photos during the weekend, but here are a couple:

I made these chocolate cake batter brownies to bring with me. They were great taste wise but I think they needed to be in the oven a bit longer.

Somehow managed a run on Saturday morning. These two helped! FYI, I'm finishing up week 6 of Couch to 5k!

Saturday was a PERFECT summer day. We spent all day on Alex's boat and at a little beach. We had three dogs with us! I was in heaven.

Emmett was the best swimmer!

Zeb dug a little hole in the shadow of the cooler and went to sleep in it. So cute.

I stopped by Trillium on our way out to Dartmouth to pick up a couple of local beers. The seafood + beer combo is one of my all time favorites.

On Sunday we spent the day lounging by the pool before heading back to Boston. It was amazing.

The sunset was really pretty on the drive home. My picture did not come out that great...ha.
