It's been busy round these parts! Busy and so fun. Seriously, I am enjoying the heck out of life lately. I bet you know what's coming next...
I've written about balance more times than I can count over the past 5.5 years on this blog. I've never been good at simultaneously achieving my health goals + keeping an active social life. Today marks the start of week 8 of
BBG for me (unofficially week 12, including the pre training). It's pretty insane to me that I've kept up with this program for 3 months. I'm so proud! And the end is in sight...only 4 weeks to go! That being said, despite the fact that I've been working out like a beast and seeing TONS of progress in my strength, agility, flexibility, etc, I'm not seeing major changes in the way my body looks. The unfortunate truth is that had I been eating more cleanly over the past 12 weeks, I know my results would be trifold.
So here we are again -- how do you push toward your health/weight loss goals while maintaining an active social life that includes lots of eating out, drinking, etc? Obviously I don't have the answer to that, but I'm going to just start with today. I have no plans except working out tonight, so I'm pushing for "one perfect day". What that means for me is:
- Eat 100% clean all day
- Drink tons of water
- Get in a great workout
- Go to sleep early
Hopefully one perfect day will turn into two. I know that in reality I'm never going to give up my social life. What I need to concentrate on is making the other days as healthy as possible.
So that's the very basic plan for now! Wish me luck.
And now, here's a photo dump fro the past few weeks:
