5 Steps For an Enjoyable Long Run

1. Add a bunch of new Glee songs to your playlist. Play them over and over as many times as you want. Particularly these two:



(I dare you not to cry while watching that second video. Finn <3)

2. Include a run around the Charles River in your running route. I don't care how you have to get there, just do it!

3. Be a tourist in your own city. Stop and take photos because it's just too dang beautiful.





4. Realize half way through that once you're done this will be the longest you've run since your half marathon 3 years ago! Reminisce about the half...that will take at least 1 mile!

5. Bask in the joy of the fact that after 2 miles, your legs no longer hurt, and with a little concentration, you really can breathe through cramps.

7 miles done and done!
