Here we have salami, pepperoni, turkey pastrami, american cheese, muenster cheese, assorted pasta salads, berries, marinated mushrooms and an amazingly soft loaf of bread. Whole Foods, you have my heart.
We watched an episode of Downton Abbey while recovering from our food comas. I really like this show, but I can't believe what happened in the second episode. DraaaAma!
Eventually I left Tom's and met up with a few friends. We made sangria, played ass hole and listened to some oldies before taking off for the firework show at the Esplanade. It was sooo insanely crowded when we got there. We pushed through the crowds for a while until we were told we had to evacuate because of the storm. It was kinda scary! I did find time during the evacuation to stop and buy fro-yo for $7. Guess it wasn't THAT scary. The show was delayed a bit so we walked to a bar to wait it out. I ordered a Jack's Abby Jabby Brau and some unnecessary sweet potato fries. The show started pretty abruptly and we ran to a nearby secret parking garage to watch -- it actually had a fantastic view, plus were covered from the rain.
The fireworks were fantastic as usual (I only took 2 pictures then stopped because I just wanted to enjoy). The city does a really great job with them!
In other news, I've been doing really well with exercising lately! I made my half marathon training schedule and have been spending the last few weeks just getting back into working out consistently. I took a strength training gym class yesterday that was great, my muscles are hurting today!
That's all for now. Have a great weekend!
