Weekend Snapshots

This was the first full weekend I've spent in Boston in two months. Crazy...

I tried to fill up every second possible with fun things. Here are some of them via photos from my phone.

Google+ edited this picture for me but I thought it was pretty. I don't like that it looks like fall is coming but it's still nice!

The roof deck on my apartment is definitely illegal but I go up there all the time now. Look at the view!

Picnic on Saturday with all of my favorite things :) The tomato mozzarella salad was made with the cherry tomatoes from the garden and was sooo good.

Cloud watching on Saturday afternoon...

Hard to believe that a few hours later it turned into this...! I took a video of the lightning but I don't know how to add it here. I also tried to take a picture of the THOUSANDS of birds that were flying over us. They were all freaking out, squawking and flying in circles. It was terrifying!!!

One of my favorite beers on tap at Ward 8: Spencer Trappist Ale.

Produce just looks so pretty. These are the times when I wish I had a nice camera!

Passed by this water pump and noticed the little hearts. Do all of these have hearts on them? Love is everywhere :)

Andy and a giant, delicious pizza from Picco.

Pretty butterfly in the garden.

The haul from the Garden: three giant zuchinnis (I pawned one off on Andy), a giant tub of tomatoes and a couple of string beans!

My purchase from SOWA. I used this last night in the shower and it smells amazing....and made my skin so soft!

And a few quotes, just because:

"The great thing about life is that you get to choose who you want to be and then take steps to become that person."

"You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them."

"It is by going down into the abyss that we recover the treasures of life. Where you stumble, there lies your treasure."
